KARACHI, Aug 23: Director-general military training, Maj-Gen Muhammad Javed, has said that high professional capabilities have made the Pakistan Army strong enough to defend the homeland in any eventually.

He was speaking as chief guest at the passing-out parade of Cha’kar and Bhittai companies of the Sindh Regiment here at the Sindh Regiment Centre.

He called upon the passing out recruits to realize their responsibilities and maintain the professional skills which they acquired during their training process.

He gave way awards to the recruits who exhibited outstanding performance during their training. Recruits Waqas Mukhtar and Muhammad Tariq also received awards for their performances in education and drill respectively.

Commandant Sindh Regiment Centre, Brigadier Muhammad Zameer Raja, parade commander Major Syed Raza and other Army officers were present on the occasion.—PPI
