LAHORE, May 15 A 67th minute goal by Ayub Ali helped National Bank of Pakistan carved out 3-2 win against Punjab Greens in the Super Eights stage of the 29th National Junior hockey championship at the National Hockey Stadium here on Saturday.

After a goalless first half, the Greens drew the first blood when their Shahid Jamal scored a field goal in the 38th minute.

Three minutes later, Faisal Qadir restored the parity for the bankers, converting a penalty-corner.

But a 50th minute goal through a short-corner conversion by Rehman again put the Greens 2-1 ahead.

Khurram Shahzad came to rescue the bankers to level the score 2-2, scoring a field goal in the 61st minute, before Ayub struck the winner.

In another match of the day, Sui Southern Gas Company earned 3-0 win against Pakistan Air Force.

While Bilal Qadir hit two goals (27th, 34th minutes), Mohammad Rizwan struck one (15th minute) for the winners.
