SIALKOT, May 1 The Indian Border Security Forces (BSF) opened unprovoked firing with heavy weapons at the Sialkot working boundary in the Zafarwal-Shakargarh sector late on Friday night.

Sources said on Saturday the BSF started firing at Khuda Dad Post around midnight which continued for about an hour.

The unprovoked firing stopped when the Chenab Rangers retaliated. However, no loss of life or injury was reported.

Sources said a wing commanders level meeting was called and a protest was lodged with the BSF.
