RAWALPINDI, Aug 19: Additional District and Sessions Judge Chaudhry Imtiaz Ahmad on Monday acquitted two persons of the charges of adultery due to lack of evidence against them.

Yasin, in a complaint filed with the court, claimed that his daughter, Naureen, had illicit relations with a man, named Misbah, with whom she left her house. He added that he along with his brother and wife tried to stop them, but failed as they drove away in a Suzuki.

However, in the court, the two accused maintained that they loved each other and got married according to Shariat as they both were mature persons. The couple, which was carrying their one-year-old-baby, also produced their Nikah Nama in the court.
