12 passengers kidnapped

SUKKUR, Nov 7: Dacoits hijacked a passenger wagon with 12 passengers from the Indus Highway near Bailpet in Balochistan on Tuesday night.

The wagon, coming from Bhag Nari to Jacobabad, was intercepted by dacoits who fled with the passengers, including four Hindu traders.

The area police reportedly has contacted local influential Sardar Chakar Khan Dombki for the help in release of the abducted persons.

WOMAN KILLED: Armed persons, including her husband, gunned down a woman, Shabbiran, in Ali Bux Umrani village near Jacobabad on Wednesday.

Husband of the deceased, Mehmood, son of Mitthal, told police that Shabbiran had committed suicide.
