SIALKOT, March 21 A good number of people participated in a “Go America Go” rally taken out by the Jamaat-i-Islami here on Sunday.

JI Amir Syed Munawar Hassan led the rally which started from Shahabpura Chowk and ended at Allama Iqbal Chowk after passing through main roads and various intersections.

Holding banners and placards, protesters chanted anti-US slogans and burnt flags of the US, India and Israel.

Addressing a public meeting on Kutchery Road, Syed Munawar Hassan alleged that rulers were implementing a foreign agenda to please the US which created a law and order situation in the country.

He said the sky-rocketing prices of daily use items were forcing the poor to commit suicide.

The JI leader said the “foreign interference” in every matter was a major reason for the rising lawlessness in Pakistan. He said the US, which was killing innocent people in Fata in drone attacks, was now planning to launch similar attacks on Balochistan.
