EU observers meet political leaders

ISLAMABAD, Aug 10: European Union election observers met leaders of Pakistan Millat Party, Pakistan Awami Tehrik and Pakistan Muslim League (Quaid-i-Azam) on Saturday.

The PML (QA) gave party manifesto, constitution and other related matter to the EU team, led by Chief Observer John Cushnahan.

The party leaders conveyed their reservations on delimitations. Chief of Millat Party, Sardar Farooq Ahmad Khan Leghari, said the presence of foreign observers would ensure impartiality of the government in the elections.

PAT Chairman Dr Tahirul Qaderi also met the team.—APP
