One killed, 15 injured in clash

KHAIRPUR, Aug 10: One person was killed and 15 injured, including three women, in a clash between two factions of Mojai tribe, in Pir Waryal village on Friday evening, over a piece of government land.

The deceased was identified as an octroi inspector, Allah Dino Mojai, while the injured included Ms Shahul, Ms Sharifan, Ms Waziran, Gul Sher, Ayaz Ali and others.

The Thari Mirwah police have registered a case against five Mojai tribesmen, namely Muhammad Hashim, Qurban Ali, Mushtaq, Sahib and others.

BOOKED: A-section police have booked three persons, namely Roshan, Ali Gul and Abdul Sattar, here on Saturday, for power theft.

The Hesco line superintendent has lodged the FIR.
