Indian dies in jail hospital

LAHORE, Aug 10: An Indian national died of illness at the Kot Lakhpat Jail hospital on Saturday.

According to police, 21-year-old Gurdan Das was arrested from Illahabad area of Kasur last month while crossing the border and sent to Kot Lakhpat Jail.

He was shifted to the jail hospital in critical condition some days ago, where he died on Saturday.

The body was removed to the city morgue for autopsy.—APP
