Ring leader of notorious gang held

KOHAT, Aug 7: The ring leader of a notorious gang, which used to settle public disputes in his house for payment, was arrested by a special team of police along with four other people on Wednesday, police said.

The accused, Pir Habib Shah, ran illegal parallel police stations in the area for several years, where cases were put up before him by the people from areas as far as Peshawar and Punjab. After hearing the cases, he passed judgment in favour of the aggrieved party and collected payment from them.
