PESHAWAR, Aug 5: Awami National Party (ANP) Information Secretary Haji Mohammed Adeel has resented railways move to demolish Kutcha Abadis here.

Mr Adeel, in a press statement issued here on Monday, said the poverty-ridden people had been deprived of their homes they had been living in for the last over 50 years.

The ANP leader, taking exception to the demolition along the main railway track passing through the provincial capital, demanded of the government to stop the demolition operation favouring the poor inhabitants of the area.

He the government was bent upon rendering them shelterless by razing their houses to ground.
