MULTAN, Dec 12 The district administration has sent a detailed report pertaining to casualties and loss of property in Multan blast to the home department.

DCO Muhammad Khurram Agha said that names of 10 people killed and 60 injured had been sent to the home department for disbursement of financial assistance.

The revenue and the works department had estimated property loss worth Rs14.45 million in the blast, the DCO said and added that the district government had offered facility of rented houses or tents for temporary accommodation to the people whose houses had been damaged.

One family out of nine had taken a rented house while the remaining ones had taken tents, he added. —APP
