EAST RUTHERFORD (New Jersey), Nov 5: The New York Giants, with an overtime field goal by Morten Anderson, rallied from 17 points back at halftime to beat the Dallas Cowboys 27-24 on Sunday.

The field goal was set up by Kerry Collins hitting receiver Ike Hilliard on a third-and-five with a 33-yard pass to advance the Giants to the Cowboys’ 33.

Four plays later, in his 300th NFL game, Andersen split the uprights.

Sparked by four second-half interceptions by his defense and a blocked punt on special teams, Collins recorded two second-half touchdown passes and Andersen kicked a 40-yard field goal as New York knotted the contest at 24-24 with 6:41 left in regulation.

Collins saw two interceptions of his own returned for touchdowns in the first half.

In Nashville, Tennessee, Steve McNair passed for 241 yards, ran for 74 and figured in all four touchdowns for the Tennessee Titans in a 28-24 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The loss was the fifth straight for the Jaguars.
