KARACHI, July 27: Mohammad Sajid’s second half header gave Hazara Mohammadan a narrow 1-0 victory over National Bank of Pakistan in the All-Pakistan invitation football tournament at Baloch Mujahid Stadium Saturday.

After a barren first half, Hazara Mohammadan broke the ice with a 68th-minute Sajid header.

Mohammad Asghar and Shahid Saleem netted twice in Habib Bank’s 5-1 triumph over Askani Brothers.

The bankers, who led the first session 2-1, started with a Amjad Yousuf goal in the 25th minute.

Askani Brothers got their consolation through Mohammad Asghar two minutes later. Pervez got his first just three minutes before the half time.

Habib Bank, had to wait for 65 minutes to score their third when Shahid came into action. Yet the punishment was not over for hapless Askani Brothers as the bankers pumped two more complete the tally.

Pervez slammed home his second to make it 4-1 in the 73rd minute, while Shahid fired in a 87th-minute goal to wrap-up the proceedings.
