Habib School retain title

KARACHI, Oct 18 Holders Habib Public School amassed 310 points to retain their title for the sixteenth year running in the 49th Sindh Open and Juniors Swimming championship which concluded at Karachi Gymkhana on Sunday.

Karachi Gymkhana finished runners up with a tally of 269 points while Karachi Club had to be content with third place with 91 points.

Nineteen new records were established during the two-day meet which was organised by Sindh Swimming Association.

The following are the group champions in different age categories

Under-8 Meherwan Patel (24 points); under-10 Aamir Iqbal (20 points); under-12 Bilal Qasim (35 points); under-14 Safi-ur-Rehman (36 points); under-16 Mazhar Naqvi (28 points); under- 18 Salar Hussain and Bilal Saeed (36 points) each; open category Javed Taqi (35 points).—
