LAHORE, July 23: A PML-QA delegation will meet the Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal and National Alliance leadership in the first week of August to explore the possibilities of election alliance and seat-to-seat adjustments.

A decision to the effect was taken by party chief Mian Azhar during a meeting with Shujaat Husain and Pervez Elahi here on Tuesday.

They also discussed intra-party polls required under the Political Parties Order, and Shujaat Husain was nominated as the chief election commissioner in this regard.

It was also decided to place these decisions before the executive committee for formal approval.
