HYDERABAD, July 22: A large number of Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM) activists staged a token hunger strike outside the press club here on Sunday to protest against the continued imprisonment of the Mahaz Chairman, Bashir Khan Qureshi, Vice Chairman, Dr Niaz Kalani, President of the Jeay Sindh Student Federation (JSSF), Khehar Ansari and other activists arrested in Larkana during a protest sit-in.

Led by Dodo Shahani, Mushtaq Umrani, Chacha Qasim Soomro and others, the hunger strikers told newsmen that the followers of G.M. Syed were not afraid of imprisonment.
