RAWALPINDI, July 21: At least four persons were injured, one of them critically, when a quarrel among children led to an armed clash among adults on Adiala Road on Sunday evening.

Police quoted an eye-witness as saying that the two groups started firing at each other after failing to settle a dispute among children. As a result, four persons, three of whom were identified as Sajid, Babar and Shakil, suffered bullet injuries.

The wounded were shifted to the Rawalpindi General Hospital where Shakil is said to be in critical condition.
