SHIKARPUR, July 21: The Awami Tehrik has criticized the Sindh government and the Shikarpur district administration for failing to settle the Maher-Jatoi tribal dispute.

Talking to newsmen at his party’s hunger strike camp here on Saturday, the AT chief, Rasool Bux Palijo demanded of the Sindh government, the district government and influential people to play their role in defusing tension between the two groups.

The hunger strike was observed by the party top brass to draw the attention of the authorities towards the need to settle the tribal dispute which had claimed dozens of lives.
