Billiard & pool tournament

KARACHI, Nov 3: The second Red & White Billiard and Pool Masters Championship will begin on Monday at the Indus Snooker Club, Bahadurabad.

Almost all the prominent snooker players in the country are participating in this tournament with 12 entries from Punjab and NWFP being received so far. However, an entry from Balochistan’s is still awaited.

The winner of the billiard event will receive a purse of Rs25,000 with the runner-up taking home Rs15,000. The two runners-up will receive Rs5000 each.

The same amount of money awaits the winner in the Pool Masters event, with the runner-up receiving Rs15,000 and the two runners-up having to be content with Rs5000 apiece.

The matches begin on Monday morning.
