HYDERABAD, July 18: Rich tributes were paid to the late Shahnawaz Bhutto, the son of the late Z. A. Bhutto, for his struggle against the dictatorship of the late Gen Ziaul Haq and the restoration of democracy on his 16th death anniversary on Thursday.

The cultural wing, PPP, Hyderabad city, held a commemorative meeting at its Gari Khata secretariat, which was presided over by Mehboob Sangi. Maula Bux Dahoot, A. D. Narejo, Mohammed Bachal, Naimatullah Khan Kakar, and Ghulam Nabi Rahi also spoke on the occasion.

They said that Shahnawaz Bhutto had waged a relentless struggle against the military dictator and performed a leading role in the restoration of democracy.

They claimed that Shahnawaz Bhutto, like his father, was “also assassinated by the military dictator”.

TANDO MOHAMMAD KHAN: The cultural wing, Tando Mohammad Khan, also observed his death anniversary.

Haji Amin Lakho, Abdul Aziz Halepoto, Shamman Khan Khoso, and Sardar Ishaq Otho paid tributes to the departed soul.
