KARACHI, Aug 15 Six prominent businessmen from Karachi have been honoured with national civil awards to acknowledge their role in promotion of trade and industry and their services in social sector.

Chairman PSO and Hilal-e-Ahmar chief Sardar Yasin Malik has been awarded with Hilal-e-Imtiaz. Malik was earlier honoured with Sitara-e-Imtiaz.

Other five business leaders, who were awarded Tamgha-e-Imtiaz, include Maqsood Ismail, former vice-president FPCCI, Majyd Aziz, former president KCCI, Masood Naqi, former chairman Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (Kati), Gulzar Feroz, former chairman Kati, and Haji Masood Parekh, chairman Memon Khidmat Forum.
