SUKKUR, Nov 3: Three brothers, belonging to the Chandio tribe, were gunned down by a gang of their rival Zardari tribe in Daharki late on Friday night.

The victims were identified as Ali Murad, 34; Ali Gul, 48; and 38-year-old Mohammad Naseer.

Reports reaching here said that the victims had moved to Tariq Chak village of Daharki town, sometime back from Nawabshah, after allegedly killing one Dada Zardari.

In Daharki they had been provided shelter by Ghulam Muhammad Chandio, a notable of the area.

On Friday night, eight armed men intruded the house and after separating the victims from the family members, sprayed bullets on them, killing them on the spot. The assailants afterwards escaped.

A case has been lodged with the Daharki police, in which the relatives of the victims nominated Aziz Zardari and his accomplices.
