ISLAMABAD, Nov 3: President General Pervez Musharraf on Saturday said that vision, strategy and national interest never change.

“The modalities and methods to reach the objectives may get adjusted or readjusted but the final objective of vision, strategy and national interest remain constant,” Gen Musharraf said.

The president was talking to journalists at the CE office after presiding over a meeting held to streamline efforts for aid to Afghan refugees.

To a question Musharraf said, “I don’t change with the circumstances. I remain the same. One has to face the problems and issues.”

To another question, he said that the army does get involved in lots of national activities even when you are not in charge of the activities.

“I have been involved in a lot of national calamities and interacted with civil governments.”—APP
