RAWALPINDI, July 15: Kent Club defeated Greenland by 12 runs in a thrilling match of the Rawalpindi Cricket Association (RCA) summer League.

Helped by Sajid Nadeem’s knock of 79, Kent put on 168 for the loss of eight wicket, four of which were snapped up by Alam Khan. In reply Greenland came close but not close enough, managing 159 for nine. Amir topscored with 37 and Altaf contributed 30. Liaqat bowled to an accurate line taking five for 33.

Paracha Club bt Youngster by eight wkts. Youngster 63 all out (Waheed 3-15, Nasir 3-17), Paracha 65 for two (Raja Nasir (29 no).

Pak China bt Prince by 63 runs. Pak China 139 all out (Faisal 39, Aftab 30, Azam 3-34, Nazam 3-29), Prince 76 all out (Khurrum 3-14, Naseer 3-22).
