LAHORE, July 26 Jamaat-i-Islami secretary-general Liaquat Baloch has said that Pervez Musharraf will have to pay for his crimes in due course of time.

In a press statement issued here on Sunday, he said Musharraf had committed crimes against the nation and he had to face trial under article 6 for abrogating the Constitution, detaining the superior court judges, Lal Masjid and Jamia Hafsa killings, target killing of Akbar Bugti, handing over Dr Aafia Siddiqui and a large number of missing persons to the US, military operation in Fata and Balochistan.

He expressed the hope that the military and civil establishment would not try to bail out the former dictator.
