KARACHI, July 14: Information Minister Nisar Memon said on Sunday that political activities will start after the publication of electoral rolls and announcement of election schedule by Aug 10.

Talking to newsmen here, he said political leaders and parties were holding public meetings, their activities were being covered by the print media and they were appearing in television and radio programmes. He said the government would not permit unrest and commotion as the country could not afford such things.

He claimed that terrorist elements could carry out their designs under the cover of political activities and create restlessness. He said the government was combating terrorism with full power.—APP
