Published November 4, 2001

ISLAMABAD, Nov 3: The Pakistan Muslim League (N) will organize a seminar in the Capital on November 13 against the government’s Afghan policy.

The decision was taken at a meeting, presided over by PML chairman Raja Zafarul Haq, here on Saturday.

Leaders of various political and religious parties, besides foreign ambassadors, will be invited to attend the seminar.

The party will also launch an awareness campaign to bring political parties and the general public closer at this hour of trial.

Sources said the PML was also planning to stage anti-US demonstrations in Lahore and Rawalpindi shortly.

The PML spokesman said the party had yet to decide on taking part in the November 9 strike, called jointly by the Afghanistan Defence Council and Jamaat-i-Islami.—PPI
