LONDON, July 14: A father and his four children were found dead in a burnt-out car in London early on Sunday.

Police declined to comment on media reports that the deaths were a case of murder-suicide.

A woman who identified herself as a friend of the family told Sky News at the scene that she was shocked by what had happened saying the man “had loved his family”.

Police and the fire brigade were alerted to the burning car on an industrial estate in east London shortly after midnight by a passing motorist.

Police said an investigation was under way and the Serious Crime Group has appealed for witnesses to come forward.—Reuters
