President soccer from Oct 25

LAHORE, Oct 7: Navy will meet Wapda in the opening match of the President PFF Cup football tournament which starts in Bahawalpur from Oct 25.

In all, 18 teams will take part in the tournament which have been divided into six groups “A” to “F”.  Each group comprises three teams.

The top two teams of each group will qualify for the second phase of the tournament which has been entitled “Super League” which will be divided into four groups. The winners of each group will qualify for the semi-final stage.

Following are the draws:

Oct 25: Navy vs Wapda, “D”; PTCL vs ABL “F”.

Oct 26: Railways vs NBP “B”; Army vs Police “A”.

Oct 27: KRL vs CMF “E”; HBL vs KPT “C”.

Oct 28: PTCL vs PWD “F”; Wapda vs SSGC “D”.

Oct 29: Police vs KESC “A”; NBP vs AAC “B”.

Oct 30: PAF vs HBL “C”; PIA vs CMF “E”.

Oct 31: Navy vs SSGC “D”; ABL vs PWD “F”.

Nov 1: Railways vs AAC “B”; Army vs KESC “A”.

Nov 2: PAF vs KPT “C”; PIA vs KRL “E”.
