MULTAN, July 10: The Bahauddin Zakariya University has decided to disclose a candidate’s results ahead of schedule on payment of Rs30,000.

The decision was taken at a meeting held here on Wednesday. Vice-chancellor Prof Dr Ghulam Mustafa Chaudhry presided over the meeting.

Source said the facility was being introduced to facilitate the candidates taking the BA/BSc examinations this year to qualify for contesting the October elections.

Former federal minister Syeda Abida Husain and former provincial minister Iqbal Khakwani are among the candidates.

Ms Husain’s brother-in-law, Faisal Imam, is a member of the BZU syndicate.
