ICC meeting in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD, July 8: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has confirmed a meeting of its development committee to be held in Pakistan during October, an official said Monday.

“ICC has confirmed to us that its cricket development committee meeting will be held in Pakistan on Oct 20 and 21,” Asian Cricket Council development manager Zakir Syed said.

The venue of the meeting will either be Lahore or Islamabad.

“ICC chief executive Malcolm Speed will chair the meeting in which major development issues of the game will be discussed,” Syed said.—AFP
