NOWSHERA, July 8: One person was killed and another injured when a speedy bus ran over a bicycle-rider on Rawalpindi-Peshawar Road near here, police said.

Imran, a resident of Mardan who received injuries, told police that he was accompanying his maternal uncle Shahid Ali, an employee of Pakistan Railways, when a bus bearing registration number RIR-4339 ran over their bycycle. Shahid Ali died on the spot while he got injuries.

Bus driver escaped however the bus has been impounded.

TRADER KILLED: One person was found dead on Cherat Road near Jalozai refugee camp. The police sent the body for autopsy and was looking for unidentified killers.
