LAHORE, May 22 Pakistan Football Federation's (PFF) Under-16 Youth Cup kicks off from May 25.
Featuring 28 teams, the tournament will be played at various centres across Pakistan as the 27 youth football coaches working here under the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) AID-27 Financial Assistance Scheme show their commitment to their job.
The 27 Pakistan-based coaches who field their teams in the 28-team event will be Bilal Ahmed Butt, Nauman Ibrahim, Rana Zahir Ahmed, Tanveer Ahmed, Mohammad Habib, Shahzad Anwar, Sajjad Mahmood Khan, Mohammad Rasheed, Hassan Baloch, Nasir Ismail, Niaz Ahmed Abro, Mohammad Karim, Najibullah Najmi, Haji Abdul Sattar, Gohar Zaman, Fazle Ghaffar, Saeedullah, Faisal Khan, Mohammad Saleem, Mohammad Asghar, Asghar Anjum, Safiullah Khan, Mehmood Khan, Mohammad Aslam Khan, Sakhi Rehman, Akhtiarullah and Mohammad Javed. Sialkot's International Labour Organization (ILO) will also be among the competitors.
Players born on or after Jan 1, 1993, will be eligible to play in the event, which concludes on June 13.—Agencies
