SUKKUR, July 6: Three persons of a family, including two women, were killed and three others were injured by seven armed men in Mathelo village on Saturday morning.

The armed men raided the village and barged into the house of Noor Mohammad. They opened indiscriminate firing, killing Noor Mohammad, 65, his wife, Kori, 60, and his sister-in-law, Soni, and injuring three women, Siani, Karan, and Rizwana.

The condition of Siani and Karan is in serious condition in the civil hospital. The police said a group of rival Kaladi tribe took revenge of the murder of Shahnawaz who was killed on June 2 in the same village over a dispute of a piece of land.

The police have picked up Ghulam Mustufa, Ghulam Rasool, Allah Rakhio, Mitthal Dur Mohammad and Sanaullah.
