QUETTA, July 4: Four rockets were fired at a checkpoint of the Frontier Corps by unknown persons in Kohlu area on Thursday night, official sources said.

The rockets, fired from the mountains, landed in the open area near the checkpoint and exploded with big bang. However, no loss of life or propriety was reported.

The law-enforcement agencies also recovered a huge quantity of explosive material from a dustbin situated near Survey and National Identity Card registration office.

Sources claimed unknown people planted the explosive material for destroying government offices.
