Woman shot dead

LAKKI MARWAT, July 4: Some armed men shot dead a woman near the Lawangkhel village, some 12km from here, on Thursday.

The deceased was identified as Khan Zeba. Her father-in-law, Mohammad Ali lodged a report with the Ghaznikhel police against the unidentified killers.

Meanwhile, Falak informed the police that Sharif, son of Umer Gul, a resident of Mohallah Gulwaliabad, had kidnapped his sister.

Falak said that Sharif had provided some intoxicants to his sister who gave it to her parents in their meal. They fell unconscious and the girl went away with Sharif, he added.

PROTEST RALLY: Residents of different villages took out a procession here on Thursday to protest against the suspension of power supply to their areas for the last three days.

The procession was led by Councillors Haji Karim Khan and Haji Mohammad Ali Khan.
