MARDAN, May 4 Unidentified miscreants hurled a hand grenade at a convoy of security forces in the Shergarh village, 28 kilometres off here on Monday evening.

Residents said that a convoy of security forces was coming back from Swat when it came under grenade attack. However, no one was injured in the incident.

After the attack, the area reverberated with gunfire, creating fear among the locals. However, it could not be known either the firing was made by the security forces or militants.

Meanwhile, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) raided a gowdown established for relief goods meant for the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) of Bajaur Agency at Baghdada and recovered fake identify cards and arrested two staffers. They were identified as Nisar Ali and Mukhtyar Khan.
