Sailing course ends

KARACHI, July 3: The 5th Basic Sailing Course concluded at National Sailing Centre (NSC) Wednesday.

The course was attended by fourteen children who learnt their sailing lessons on Optimist and Laser boats.

In the basic course the students were taught different parts of boats and sails, various types of sailing conditions and International Sailing Federation Rules of the Game, says a press release.

Summer Sailing Camp is the introduction of NSC and so far in last three years more than 500 children have been trained.

Those who passed the course included Asad, Anooshay Abbasi, Abdullah Abbasi, Osama Abbasi, Muhammad Umer, Muhammad Mustaf, Zahid Bin Asad, Zoya Asad, Zenat Asad, Nargis Kamal, Ali Turab, Saman Fatima, Muhammad Asdaf, and Muhammad Ismail.—APP
