LAHORE, July 3: Allama Iqbal Town Nazim Sardar Adil Umar and his brother former parliamentary secretary Sardar Aqil were granted pre-arrest interim bail till July 11 in a hooliganism case by an additional district and sessions judge on Wednesday.

The court directed them to furnish bail bonds of Rs30,000 each signed by their respective sureties. They were further directed to cooperate with police in the investigation of the case.

As alleged by the caretaker of the Nazim’s House, Sardar Adil and Aqil ransacked the house and threatened the staff with dire consequences about 10 days ago. — Reporter
