KARACHI: ARD meeting

KARACHI, July 3: The Sindh chapter of the Alliance for Restoration of Democracy held a meeting on Wednesday with provincial president of the alliance Nisar Ahmed Khuhro in the chair to its review future strategy.

The meeting reviewed the arrangements for holding public meetings in Hyderabad, Sukkur and Karachi on July 8, 10 and 26, respectively.

At the meeting, besides formation of committees to make arrangements for these meetings, the provincial leaders of alliance vowed to continue their struggle despite threats from the government.

Referring to threats and warnings sounded by the federal information minister Nisar Khuhro, the PPP leader said it reflects that the governments does not believe in restoration of democracy and empowering masses.—PPI
