Seven injured in clash

NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, June 30: Seven persons were seriously injured in a clash between two clans, Memon and Tragar, over the ownership of a piece of land in Abran area of this taluka late Saturday.

The injured were identified as Inayat Memon, Rahat Memon, Barkat Memon, Bhoro Memon, Deedar Tragar, Manthar Tragar and Nabi Bux Tragar. They were admitted to the local Civil Hospital. Both the clans have lodged separate FIRs at the local police station.

BEHEADED: A villager was beheaded by unidentified assa-ilants near Ghoghar Mori, near Lakha Road, late on Saturday.

The headless body of Shamsuddin alias Salik (45) was traced out by his family when he did not return home from a clinic whole the night. He was a resident of village Sain Dino Chang, taluka Kandiaro.

With the help of some professional tracers, the family fished out his head from a water course, Sangi Minor, passing through Lakha Road, about 150 meters from the place his body was lying.

JSQM RALLY: About 30 activists of the Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz staged a demonstration against the vice chancellor of the Sindh Agriculture University, Tando Jam, at Khan Wahan, taluka Kandiaro, on Sunday.

Criticizing the attitude of the VC towards the students, the protesters alleged that he had virtually turned the university into a police station.

They demand that the VC be transferred immediately.

ROBBERY: A gang of three armed men robbed one, Mohammad Hussain Abbasi, of his motorcycle (HAD-3690) and Rs15,000 on Sunday. He was waylaid by the gang on Kot Ghulam Shah Link Road while on way to village Ghulam Shah.

SNATCHED: Two motorcycles were snatched in different localities in Moro taluka on Monday.

Bakhshal Jatoi was going to Moro when three persons robbed him of his motorcycle near the link road, Temor.

Three armed men snatched motorcycle (NHA-924) from Mohammad Afzal Arain near Gachero Road, Moro.
