DERA GHAZI KHAN, June 24: The National Accountability Bureau has asked government agencies for a report on the assets of former Punjab governor Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa.

Sources said various agencies were collecting information in this regard. When asked about it, the Dera Ghazi Khan anti-corruption circle chief confirmed that the NAB was collecting evidence about property owned by Mr Khosa and his sons.

The former governor’s sons are alleged to have forcibly deprived a Buzdar family of the possession of leased farm land with help from district administration. The Revenue Department had awarded a 99-year lease to Mushtaq Khan Buzdar. The land was allegedly occupied by Khosa’s sons before the lease ran out.

All Baloch tumandars in Dera Ghazi Khan district except the Khosa chief are supporting the Musharraf government.
