PESHAWAR, June 22: Lakki Marwat District Nazim Hamayun Saifullah Khan has asked the elected representatives to identify and execute development schemes in their areas in consultation with the councillors to ensure balanced and equitable development in the district.

He was speaking to the elected representatives during a visit to the various union councils, where he also inspected the work being done on the ongoing schemes, said a statement on Saturday.

He said that funds for the union councils had been increased to cover other sectors, including water supply, irrigation, agriculture, communication, health, education, and sanitation.

He also asked them to get their priorities right and prepare comprehensive development plans for the next fiscal year.
