ISLAMABAD, June 21: Information Minister Nisar A. Memon will lead the Pakistan delegation at the Islamic Conference of Foreign Ministers (ICFM) meeting in Khartoum next week.

This was confirmed by the Foreign Office Spokesman Aziz Ahmed Khan here on Friday.

A seven-member delegation headed by the Information Minister will leave here on Sunday to attend the three-day meeting that opens on June 25. Additional Foreign Secretary Riaz Mohammad Khan will be a key member of the delegation.

During the meeting Pakistan would table more than a dozen political, economic and cultural resolutions of which four would be on Kashmir, well-placed sources told Dawn.

Pakistan will table an important resolution on Afghanistan, inviting the Hamid Karzai government to occupy its seat at the Organization of Islamic Conference. The seat has been lying vacant for almost six years now.
