COLOMBO, June 21: A former Lankan foreign minister, Mr Lakshman Kadiragamar, on Thursday cautioned the United National Front government regarding their peace efforts with the LTTE.

Talking to newsmen, he said that there should be a concrete link between accepting the demands of the LTTE and the peace process.

“We want the UNF government to be cautious. We fully support the peace process and the peace initiatives of Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, but we want the initiatives to benefit a lasting solution to the ethnic issue”, he said.
