ABBOTTABAD, June 19: NWFP Industries and Labour Minister Mohsin Aziz has said that efforts are being made on priority basis for the revival of closed industrial units.

Speaking at the oath-taking ceremony of office-bearers of Small Estate Industrialists Association (SIEA), the minister said a number of steps had been taken by the government to revive the sick and closed units in the province.

The provincial government would also provide funds for carpeting of the SIE Road, he said.

He said representatives from SIEA would be included in the Small Industrial Development Board on rotation basis.

About the lease and rental problems, the minister assured that the issues would be resolved in consultation with the quarters concerned.

Mohsin Aziz also met a delegation of the Hazara Chamber of Commerce and  Industry, led by SIE President Haji Taj Mohammad and Haji Iftikhar Ahmed.
