RAWALPINDI, June 18: The inspector general of police, Islamabad, has requested the interior ministry to direct 105 Motorway police personnel to rejoin the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) police, an official source said on Tuesday.
The source said the IGP, Mohammad Akram, wrote a letter to the interior minister and interior secretary, requesting them to either direct the 105 policemen to rejoin the ICT police or allow new recruitments in the department.
