HYDERABAD, Dec 29 MNA Syed Tayyab Hussain has said the federal government has approved funds for the establishment of a coronary hospital in Hyderabad.

Administering oath of office to newly-elected office-bearers of the District TB Association at its annual general body meeting held on Monday, Mr Hussain congratulated the newly-elected office bearers and said they would receive full cooperation from MQM in their noble work.

He said that in the eyes of Almighty Allah, the best worship is the service of ailing humanity. The Haq Parast leadership was working on it and the district government had established many hospitals, including a kidney centre, he said.

The association`s general secretary Habibul Hassan Ghori presented annual report and the finance secretary Musarrat Iqbal gave details of the funds received through zakat and from the philanthropists.

The association`s president, Dr Abdul Samad Shaikh, brief the meeting on future programmes, especially expansion of the anti-TB hospital.
