LAHORE, June 14: National Commission on the Status of Women chairperson Justice Majida Rizvi (retired) presided over the 12th meeting of the commission here on Friday.
The meeting would continue through Saturday.
The meeting discussed the problems being faced by the women councillors in the district governments.
The commission also decided to analyse the media policy of the government and the portrayal of women by the media. Members from all the provinces participated in the meeting. —Staff Reporter
